Here’s something else to do during the Lake Forest High School teacher strike: buy books! This goes for students as well as anyone else in the community who loves to read and loves a great bargain.
The Friends of the Lake Forest Library are hosting their annual fall book sale Sept. 13 through Sept. 16. More than 300 volunteers are helping to sell a huge stock of some 100,000 books.
WHO: Come one, come all as the Friends of Lake Forest Library hosts its 37th Annual Book Sale!
WHAT: Come shop one of the nation’s premiere book sales with more than 100,000 books on site, as well as CDs, DVDs and more. There is something for everyone from families to collectors!
