Do you like a challenge? Are you a team player willing to work to make our community stronger? When you volunteer to serve as a School Board member you will have a significant impact on decisions relating to education, facilities and property taxes in our community. If this sounds like something you’re interested in then the Lake Bluff School Caucus wants to hear from you!
The Caucus is currently seeking interested candidates for the Spring 2013 elections for the Lake Bluff District 65 and Lake Forest High School District 115 Boards of Education to serve a four-year term. Currently there are four seats for the District 65 Board of Education and one open seat for the District 115 Board of Education that will appear on the ballot for the Spring 2013 election.
The four District 65 seats are currently held by Al Fifhause and Terry Kearney who have both completed two four year terms, and Mary Jane Brady and Eric Waggoner who have both completed a single first 4 year term. The District 115 seat that is up for election is currently held by Todd Burgener who has completed his first four year term. If any of these current board members choose to re-run, they will go through the same interview process with the Caucus as any other candidates.

This form, along with a resume or brief personal biography, should be sent to the Caucus Secretary at secretary@lbschoolcaucus.org. Completed forms are due by the end of day on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Interviews will be conducted in November 2012. You will be contacted by someone from the Caucus after your resume has been reviewed.
The Lake Bluff School Caucus nominates and supports candidates for both the Lake Bluff School District 65 and Lake Forest High School District 115 Boards of Education. Nominating for District 115 is shared between the Lake Bluff School Caucus and the Lake Forest School Caucus. The Caucus is an independent and nonpartisan organization of community volunteers who work as a team to find the best-qualified nominees for election to the school boards of Elementary District 65 and High School District 115.
