Lake Bluff’s very own top chef, John des Rosiers of Inovasi, will demonstrate how to make a fresh spiced tomato soup at the Lake Bluff Farmer’s Market this Friday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. The soup gets some kick thanks to a hint (OK, a full cup) of bourbon and lots of fresh herbs–the ingredient list is included below so you can plan your market shopping strategy ahead of time. Want to see how des Rosiers whips it up? Well, you’ll just have to stop by on Friday.
The Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market is held every Friday through October 12, 7 a.m. to noon, in downtown Lake Bluff on the Village Green. Parking can be found near the Central Business District at the Walnut Avenue Parking lot, the Train Station lot, and at Artesian Park. For more information about the market, click here.
