NEW EVENT: Picnic on the Farm

Sept. 30 12:00noon – 3:00pm at Elawa Park (1401 Middlefork Drive, Lake Forest)

Go back in time to an old fashioned picnic in the park with your family enjoying a fun relaxing day. Let us take you there again, you bring the blanket, picnic basket and we will supply the fun! We will have games, face painting, races, animal show, volleyball and horseshoes. Scarecrow Making Contest – Oct. 7th 12:00 – 2:30pm

Looking for a fun fall event? Why not make a scarecrow to be displayed in Lake Forest Market Square and show off your talents! This is a great event for any school, youth organization, neighborhood group, family, office group or individual. Just bring some old clothes and your imagination to decorate the scarecrow. We supply the pumpkin, straw and fence post for it to be mounted on. Refreshments will be served and prizes awarded. Don’t wait sign up your group at www.LFRec.com!
