Three Lake Forest High School Friends Host Annual Green Glamour Clothing Exchange
Lake Forest High School Seniors Emily Lovell, Grace Demet and Nina Demet have returned to Lovell’s of Lake Forest Restaurant to sponsor their third annual Green Glamour Clothing Exchange. The event will take place on Sunday, Oct 7, and has already attracted lots of activity!
“GGCE is all about bringing the community’s teens and tweens together for an afternoon of fun and making a donation to a great cause,” said co-founder Emily Lovell, “What better way to give back than to have our annual event.”
GGCE was founded by Emily Lovell and her Lake Forest High School classmates Nina Demet and Grace Demet as a small community event held at Lovells of Lake Forest Restaurant. The event grew over the years and the girls have donated thousands of pieces of clothes to the the Boys and Girls Club of Lake County and the Waukegan Battered and Abused Woman and Children’s Foundation.
Lovell said, “We hope this event becomes a great Lake Forest High School tradition”.
Green Glamour Clothing Exchange was founded in 2010; over the years the event has made a difference to over 700 families in need.
